Description: Purple Heart Wood is one of the rarest woods found in Hawaii. Like all great things from Hawaii, a kiss from the sun brings out the beautiful color. In this class, we will put heart into a seemingly easy project to highlight this exotic wood.

Skill Level: Intermediate, must know how to solder silver and have some fabrication experience.

• Heavy duty side cutters
• Half round pliers (optional)
• Ring clamp (optional)
• Divider
• Hollow scraper
• Fine tip sharpie
• Magnifying glasses and Ott light as needed
