The motor is rated nominally at 1/4 HP, though we estimate actual horsepower to be 1/8 HP. The sheath that houses the flexible shaft is spring reinforced at both ends for enhanced durability. Shaft connection accepts all American-style (QD) handpieces. Chucking capacity of the Jacobs-style chuck is 5/32 inches. Maximum speed is 22,000 rpm.
