Description: Create a focus piece to elevate a simple necklace, chain, or cord into a personal statement. Using silver components, learn how to build the core of a large stone inlay bead. Cut stone to fit your bead, add silver dividers (or not if you’d like a cleaner look), then cut back and finish the piece to a high polish. Bring your own stone(s) or choose from my available selection. You’ll be able to personalize your design with the number of dividers, different/multiple stones, and overall shape.
Materials included in price: Enough material for one bead. Fine silver and sterling silver stock, consumables, inlay tools kit, a selection of stone for the project. Students are welcome to provide their own stones, size must be at least 1” x 1” x ½”. Every additional bead will be $50.*
