Description: Combining the old and the new! In this 3 day intensive workshop, you will learn the ancient art of cloisonné enamel, while working with one of jewelry’s newest mediums, metal clay. Metal clay is the perfect canvas for enamel due to its amazing ability to take texture. You will learn how to properly construct and fire a fine silver frame that is perfect for a cloisonné design. You will learn about wire settings, enamels, foils, blending colors and much more! At the end of 3 days you will walk away with a completely ground and polished cloisonné pendant.
Materials included in price: 25G fine silver metal clay,metal clay paste, fine silver cloisonne wire, gold foil, leaded japanese enamels, sterling silver bail.*
