Description: Capture a day at the beach with this fun yet stunning fine silver pendant. Choose a focal stone or shell cabochon, and design your pendant around its personality, starting with the bezel setting itself. Virtually any small molds can be used to form clay embellishments, and simple sculpted elements will be demonstrated. Of course, this also means the theme of the piece can easily be changed based on the style of cabochon and unique molds used, and many options will be available. We use coils for framework, the bail, and to give the pendant the illusion that it seems larger than it really is. While intricate and with many pieces, this entire pendant is able to be made without needing a kiln, which means all techniques, from the bezel to the bail, are compatible for any artist who might not yet have a kiln in or near their studio.
Materials included in price: Art Clay Silver clay (15g), paste, and paper type, natural cabochon. Note: should the market price of silver rise above $75/ozt, a surcharge will be imposed.
