Description: Take your stone-setting skills to the next level in this intermediate jewellery-making class! Students will learn how to create a unique sterling silver pendant featuring a combination of prong-set faceted and cabochon gemstones.
You'll explore intermediate fabrication and stone-setting techniques while designing a one-of-a-kind piece that showcases the beauty of mixing different gemstone cuts and settings. Bring your own gemstones or choose from our selection at the beginning of class.
Students may incorporate a maximum of two gemstones into their design.
By the end of the class, you'll leave with a beautifully handcrafted sterling silver pendant and the confidence to tackle more advanced stone-setting projects.
Materials included in price: Sterling silver stock. Students may bring their own stones (2) or purchase from instructor at class for an additional fee. *Note: should the market price of silver rise above $75/ozt, a surcharge will be imposed.
