14-2 Clara Pronged Pendant

Description: Create this unique pendant using wire wrapping and wire weaving skills.  Students will learn how to set a large, faceted stone with wire prongs, then how to create bejeweled bail using wire weaving overlay technique.  Skills that will be covered are wire prong making, simple wrapping with half round wire, basic wire weaving, and gem setting with wire overlay technique.      

Materials included in price: Step by step color illustrated handout, copper half round, square and round wire, choice of oval faceted gem, three faceted gems, consumables. (Upgrade to silver will be available in class.)
