Description: This cuff harmonizes two seemingly opposite styles, solid sheet metal and airy wire filigree. The trick is seamlessly blending the two materials. Creating this bracelet students will use several metal techniques: sawing shapes, creating wire filigree, silversmithing, texturing with hammers and stamps, and forging heavy gauge sheet and wire.
Materials included in price: Step by step color illustrated handout, copper sheet, copper wire, solder, use of tools, consumables. (Upgrade to silver will be available in class.)
