Descriptions: Join me for a 'Zoom Short' session, where we'll indulge in some instant gratification. This quick and easy project will be completed in just 2 hours. By the end of this Zoom class, you'll proudly display a beautifully crafted 3-dimensional pendant adorned with a lovely stone!
Zoom Shorts are FREE Zooms with purchase of kit.
Materials Kit: Enough material for one pendant (SS stock, SS chain (18"), stone cabochon).
This class will be conducted via Zoom. Registrants will be emailed an invitation to join the Zoom meeting 3 days before class and will be required to register with Zoom to gain access. Video will be available for 90 days after the first class and will be available on a private channel on YouTube.
Tools Needed:
- Sharpie
- Side cutters (preferably flush)
- Chain nose pliers
- Round nose pliers (optional if you do not have Gentec)
- Brass brush
- Student files
- Needle files
- Fine burnisher
- Rawhide mallet or Nylon mallet
- Needle files
- Bezel shears
- Riveting hammer and bench block (optional if you do not have a Gentec)
- Gentec torch or Smith Little equivalent
- Super grip gloves (optional)
- Soldering set up
- Magnifying glasses (as needed)
- Liver of sulfur or BlackMax (optional)
- Steel wool #0000
- Ruler
